On March 3, 2026, leading women from the business world came together at the Ledra Palace Hotel for the panel titled “Connecting Businesswomen across the island – Empowering Women, Creating Opportunities.” Sponsored by UNDP and the European Union, the event focused on the journeys of Turkish Cypriot and Greek Cypriot women in business, as well as the challenges and opportunities they encounter.

Speaking at the panel, Başman Group Director Pınar Başman Süren shared the strong presence of Başman Group, with its 66-year-rooted history, and Avon, which has been operating in Northern Cyprus for 42 years. She highlighted our achievements as a structure built on women’s employment and women’s leadership, along with our story of stable growth over the years.

Today, nearly 1,000 Avon representatives are part of a strong community that contributes to their personal development, their families, and the national economy, growing stronger every day and continuously raising the bar for success.
