A MAGNIFICENT “AWARDS & MOTIVATION NIGHT” BY BAŞMAN GROUP OF COMPANIES

Başman Group of Companies hosted a spectacular evening for its employees at the “Performance Awards & Motivation Night,” held on Saturday, January 31, 2026, at the Girne Grand Pasha Hotel.

The event brought together the Board of Directors of Başman Group of Companies, the management of the Mevhibe & Mustafa Başman Foundation, and a workforce of 250 employees. During the night, outstanding performances of 2025 were rewarded, while the goals and vision for 2026 were emphasized.

The evening began with a violin and guitar recital, followed by speeches from members of the Board of Directors of Başman Group of Companies. In their addresses, they highlighted that 2025 had been a year filled with significant achievements for the company. It was stated that, guided by the values of the company’s founders, Salih Başman and Mustafa Başman, many new brands were successfully added to the Group throughout the year thanks to strong strategic steps and the dedicated efforts of team members. As a result, company profitability increased significantly, and new employment opportunities were created in parallel with this growth.

During the evening, the pride of being awarded the Retail Sector Tax Honor Award in 2025 was also shared with employees. Despite all embargoes, the Group expressed its pride in representing 61 global companies and 84 brands in the TRNC; in adding value to the lives of its employees by improving their living standards; in contributing to employee development through Başman Academy training programs; in positively impacting the lives of AVON female representatives through income opportunities; and in supporting society by donating 4.6 million TL through the Mevhibe & Mustafa Başman Foundation in 2025. It was also emphasized that the Group will continue to contribute to the advancement of both the people and the country through investments, employment, training programs, and social responsibility projects.

Following the opening speeches, Service Awards and plaques were presented to employees who have completed 10, 20, and 30 years with Başman Group of Companies. The award ceremony continued with plaques being presented to 15 employees who demonstrated the greatest development and highest performance in 2025.

In addition to seniority and performance awards, a Loyalty Award was presented to Cihat Ozan, who continues to stand by the company despite the end of his service period. The “Heartfelt Effort, Lasting Value Award” was presented to Özlem Otur and Gülay Başaran for their voluntary support of Başman Kozmetik and the Mevhibe & Mustafa Başman Foundation. The Mustafa Başman Outstanding Performance Award was presented to Fatma Ayten Yemişçioğlu, who retired in 2025 after 48 years of dedicated service.

Following the award ceremony, the evening continued with a cake-cutting ceremony and concluded with joyful and entertaining moments accompanied by DJ Bora’s outstanding performance.
